The Rotostay IV combines the reliability of our
well-proven luff reefing foils together with a
completely re-designed drum assembly. Machined from
LM25 aluminium the new drums have an increased rope
capacity for even larger sails; a simple study rope
guard that will not interfere with your anchor; a
locking torque connector that permits the sail to
be reefed in either direction; and an easy to
adjust integral turnbuckle for maintaining the
correct rig tension.
As with all Rotostay systems everything has been engineered to ensure years of trouble free service. The bearing assemblies, both in the drum and halyard swivel, are machined from 316 stainless steel, as is the integral turnbuckle. In fact every structural component from the mast to the deck is made of stainless steel because, like Rotostay, it is just right for the job.

Our price includes not only the standard set of anodised aerofoil luff extrusions, halyard swivel and reefing drum assembly, but also a rig pack containing a new stainless steel fore stay with terminals; a set of stanchion blocks; a braided reefing line; and a halyard anti-wrap plate with rivets. And there is more! If you give us an exact measurement we will finish the system to length complete with the fore stay terminals fitted at no extra cost.
